Moment Factory, a global leader in video, lighting, sound and special effects will bring Whistler’s forests to life with a brand new Lumina experience, heightening the natural landscape with multimedia to create a world filled with adventure and enchantment. Vallea Lumina is a pathway through an old-growth forest that will take visitors of all ages on a magical night walk in pursuit of hidden wonders, telling a story that unfolds in chapters along the way.

Nightly starting at sundown. As the days get longer, tours will start later. As the days get shorter, tours will start earlier.

Year Round Experience
Our Vallea Lumina experience runs year round! During the summer we operate our longer 1.5km course and in the winter we offer a .75km course that is enhanced with the beauty of the snow.
Before You Book
Transportation & Parking
Roundtrip shuttle service from Whistler Village is available. Shuttles pick up and drop off at the Whistler Village Gateway Bus Loop, by the visitor centre. Shuttle must be booked in advance and spots are limited.
For guests driving their own vehicles, please note that paid parking is in effect for The Adventure Group parking lot.
Mobility
This entire experience takes place outside within a trail network which is partially levelled gravel and dirt. These paths are not recommended for people with reduced mobility since they consist of several steep staircases and hills, that are both up and down.
Using a baby carrier is recommended although strollers are not recommended including the off-road/sports models.
Strobe Lighting
Strobe lighting effects are used during this show. Guests that may suffer from epilepsy or are affected by visual light stimulation effects are advised to contact the ranger staff prior to embarking on the walk.
What to Bring
Tips
Vallea Lumina runs rain or shine – Please dress for the weather and if raining, bring waterproof clothing as umbrellas are not allowed.
Sturdy close-toed shoes are recommend as the Vallea Lumina trail is along a mostly levelled gravel and dirt path.
Photography
Cameras are welcomed and encouraged, but we ask for no flash photography as to not distract other guests from the experience.
