    Our backcountry location at Cougar Mountain offers the perfect shooting location for your next project. The vast tenure features coastal rainforest with panoramic views of mountains and glaciers. Whether you just need the forest setting as a backdrop, or want to feature adventure activities like ziplining or side by sides, our team can service your needs.

Some FAQs

  • Do you provide transportation to your basecamp?

    Private shuttles can be arranged in advance for group bookings at additional cost. Please speak to our Group Experience team to see what options are available.

  • Can we have alcohol at our event?

    For catered events at our venue, a liquor license can be obtained to allow for alcohol to be served, as long as it’s after participation in any activities. There is a zero-tolerance policy for any drugs or alcohol consumed prior to or during any activities. The Adventure Group reserves the right to cancel tours if there is any indication that guests are under the influence.

  • How many people does your venue hold?

    The basecamp capacity is subject to change with the use of additional infrastructure like tenting.
    Lower basecamp: 250
    Partial Upper basecamp: 80
    Full basecamp area: 450

  • How many people does the backcountry yurt hold?

    We can comfortably seat up to 30 people in the yurt for custom catered events.

  • Do you do catering?

    We have a small cafe that can organize simple snacks and drinks, and any full meals or more unique requests will need to be outsourced to a catering company. We’re happy to welcome any caterers to our venue if you have a preference.

  • What is required to confirm a group booking?

    A signed event contract, and 100% payment is required to confirm the reservation. Unless other terms agreed upon by both parties.

  • What is the maximum group size you can accommodate?

    Capacities vary for each activity type, and we can create custom itineraries to suit your group.

  • Can we have a private experience?

    Yes! We have minimums and private tour fees for each activity. Please email [email protected] for more information.
