Our snowshoe tours range from serene walks through old growth forests to vigorous treks on our trails in the Whistler Backcountry. You don’t need to be a skier to enjoy all our mountains have to offer!

PLUS the tour includes a TAG Day Ticket, giving you access to a full day of activities at the basecamp and evening entry to Vallea Lumina. That means you get an entire day of adventure - making it the best value winter experience on the mountain.

The Snowshoe Tour

This 2.5+ hour journey begins with a 30-minute ride in a custom 4×4 into Whistler’s snowy backcountry. From the trailhead, strap on your snowshoes (provided by us) and follow your expert guide through pristine snowy forests and hidden mountain trails. Along the way, you’ll learn about local flora & fauna, take in frozen waterfalls, stunning vistas and a satisfying snack break along the way.

Full day of activities

Your adventure begins at The Adventure Group’s Basecamp, where your Snowshoe tour includes full access to all Day Ticket activities. Come early or stay after your tour to enjoy a full day of fun. Load up with a bite from our café and explore the included activities such as lower ziplines, axe throwing, and the playzone throughout the day.

When it’s time for your Snowshoe tour, you’ll meet your guides, gear up, and head up the mountain in a 4×4. From there, enjoy your experience on the snow covered mountains.

As evening arrives, return for Vallea Lumina, the award-winning forest light show, also included with your ticket, the perfect way to round out a full day and night of Whistler adventure.

A fantastic well organized Snowmobile experience for beginners (you could choose advanced as well). Cougar Mountain base was awesome and the trip through the snow covered forest was a beautiful experience. Our Guide Rita was fantastic and gave us lots of information along the way when we stopped to take in the breathtaking views. Cant wait to go back and do this again

A Whistler Experience You Won’t Forget
We’re in our 60s and absolutely loved the Zipline experience. The Adventure Group staff were brilliant and attention to safety and comfort was of the highest standard. If you want something different to do whilst in Whistler, then try Ziplining their 4 runs, you won’t be disappointed. The long Zipline runs at Cougar Mountain must be one of the best in the world, the scenery is something else. 10/10, thanks.

Time Well Spent!
The Adventure Group exceeded our expectations. We were so happy with the RZR tour, we went back the next day to do Superfly Ziplines - again the whole process was first class all the way. Our instructor for both days was nothing short of amazing. Next trip to Whistler be sure to spend a couple of days at this place!

Had a great day with The Adventure Group! We started with the four ziplines, which are highly recommended! Afterwards, we did the Adventure Course — so much fun!
All in all, it was an amazing day, and we were guided perfectly by our coach Harrison!

We had such an awesome time zip lining with Harrison and Tess! We were lucky to be the only two on the tour, which made it even better. Both were super friendly and made us feel safe and relaxed the whole way through with a few laughs along the way. Definitely recommend!

We had an incredible experience with the TAG Day Pass — highly recommend it to anyone visiting Whistler! Caoimhe, Sam and the team were amazing. They helped reassure my dad, who was recovering from a recent shoulder reconstruction, that he was able to join us on the zipline, and even showed him a modified bracing position to keep him out of pain. Thanks to their care and encouragement, we all had the best time!
