The Children’s Festival

On May 19th – 21st and again on May 27th – 28th this year, the Whistler Children’s Festival is back for it’s 40th year. Both weekends are filled to the brim with family friendly programming along the Cultural Connector in Whistler Village. We’re talkin’ dance parties, face painting, roving street entertainment, science shows, circus acts and internationally acclaimed children’s performers. All for free!

Whistler Summer Concert Series

From classical music and indie pop, to chilled-out beats, R&B and rock bands, Whistler Olympic Plaza is the place to be for free, outdoor concerts all summer long. Bring you picnic blanket and grab a spot on the great lawn of dance up at the stage to live DJ sets before the headlining performers begin at 7:30pm on select Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

All summer long, we offer Whitewater Rafting, Superfly Ziplines, Aerial Obstacle Courses, Vallea Lumina, and the ever so popular RZR tours. Think of us as your own stop shop for adventure in Whistler!

  1. Wedge Whitewater Rafting – There is nothing better on a hot summer day to go whitewater rafting on a glacial river. Just bring your bathing suit and your sense of adventure and we’ll handle the rest.
  2. Superfly Ziplines – Maybe you want to see Whistler from a new perspective? Fly side by side over the Whistler beautiful backcountry. Our tour includes 2 of the largest ziplines in Canada: reach speeds of up to 100km per hour, 200 meters high, and fly along ziplines that are over 1km long.
  3. Aerial Obstacle Course – Take your adventure to the treetops! Balance, climb, and swing your way across one of our three Aerial Obstacle Courses. This is the best activities to work up a sweat and great time doing it!
  4. RZR Tours – Get ready to rip! Our side by side RZR tours get you way out into the Whistler backcountry. Our guides will take you to stunning view points, on winding trail through coastal rainforests and splash through puddles.

Immerse yourself in a culinary delight at the Whistler Farmers Market: a vibrant gathering of local vendors, artisans, makers and growers. Located in the Upper Whistler Village, this weekly summer event showcases the region’s finest produce, handcrafted goods, and delectable treats. It’s not just a place to shop, it’s an experience that celebrates the community’s dedicated to sustainability, local agriculture, and culinary excellent.
