Before you embark…

Tours run rain or shine. Rafting is a great wet-weather activity!
While we recommend being a proficient swimmer for this activity, it doesn’t mean that you have to be a member of an Olympic swim team to be safe on the river. PFD’s, wetsuits, booties, and helmet are provided to all participants.
Minimum weight for this tour is 50 lbs (23 kgs).

Plenty of Fish.

Along with being a popular whitewater spot, the Cheakamus River (pronounced Chek-a-Moose) is known for its steelhead and salmon fishing, some of which you may enjoy in local restaurants.

Experienced rafting professionals provide instruction during tour.

Meet for all tours at Wedge Rafting, located in the Carleton Lodge, across from the Whistler Village Gondola. We provide a complimentary shuttle service from Whistler Village to the river.

Have your own gear?

People tend not to travel with a wetsuit. But if you do, personal wetsuits are welcome.
