The air feels cooler, the leaves are falling from the trees and the rain starts to fall as the seasons change. If you have a trip planned to Whistler, do not fear, there are many an all-weather adventure in our mountain town.
1. RZR Tours
It’s what these machines are made for… Splash through large puddles, get a little muddy and explore the Whistler backcountry at the same time. We’ll provide the gear so you don’t need to worry about your clothes getting soaked. Tours leave at multiple times through the day from 2-2.5 hours round trip with the option for beginner or intermediate. 2 seater and 4 seater RZR’s available for families or those who just want to take in the sights as a passenger.
2. Escape! Whistler
Escape! Whistler challenges groups to test their minds and teamwork skills to solve their way out of a room within a set amount of time. There are three rooms to choose from with a fourth (& new) room opening this fall, they vary in difficulty and each have a unique theme which tests different minds. You’ll have 45 minutes to figure out your escape with clues available, undoubtedly a great challenge that will have you coming back for more!
3. Aerial Obstacle Course
Get ready to play on this incredibly unique aerial tree course! With over 70 elements ranging from mild to wild, it’s the perfect adventure to share with the whole family. The Aerial Obstacle Course is located in the dense forest of Cougar Mountain giving players some shelter from the elements. Tours depart daily at multiple times through the day.
4. Forged Axe Throwing
Whether you’re a first timer looking to try axe throwing, an experienced timber sports veteran, or a competitor in our Monday night league, Forged is your spot for axe throwing in Whistler! Forged Axe Throwing is located in Function Junction, right next door to Coast Mountain Brewery. Advanced bookings recommended.
5. Scandinave Spa
The fall can also be a time of recovery from an active summer. If your muscles and bones need some reprieve before winter, treat your body to some rejuvenation at the Scandinave Spa. Just a few minutes north of the village, this property feels like walking into a secret mountain oasis of relaxation with outdoor pools surrounded by towering trees. Reservations are not required for bath access, however they are required for massages.
6. Superfly Ziplines
Feel free as a bird, as you fly through the forest on an exhilarating zipline adventure. Superfly Ziplines unique system allows two guests to ride side-by-side, each on their own cable making it an incredible scenic experience for the whole family. Tours depart daily, advanced bookings recommended.
7. Audain Art Museum
The Audain Art Museum is Whistler’s newest cultural hot spot. Located by the Village, this iconic building houses a permanent collection of artworks from British Columbia, and hosts exhibitions from leading museums around the world.
